Jana (age 16) is a young violinist of Belgian/Bulgarian nationality.

Born into a musical family, she started playing the violin at the age of five.

Since 2021, she has been a student of Erik Sluys at the Music Academy of Anderlecht.

Jana participated in several competitions including Young Soloists (2021, 3rd prize; 2023, 1st prize) and the Princess Christina Competition (2023, Honorable Mention). Recently she has been selected as a finalist in the Belgian Breughel competition and will play the final round in April, at Flagey.

She was selected to play in the Toyota Youth Orchestra Camp in Japan and continues to play with the Antwerp Youth Orchestra and Brussels Sinfonietta. As 1st prize winner of the Young Soloists Competition, she performed as a soloist with the Stringendo Orchestra in February 2024.

In recent years she attended master classes in Belgium and abroad, such as Encuentro Internacional de Musica in Cieza (Spain) and a masterclass in Lier (Belgium). She has also appeared on the stage of Arbanassi Summer Music (Bulgaria), the chamber music festival organized by her parents.
